A true hidden gem in Tepoztlan! The food and drinks are exceptional—thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor, lots of vegan/vegetarian options( which was a plus for me). But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere—it's on a whole different level. I was genuinely surprised to find a spot like this in the puebla. Just be sure to make a reservation in advance—it’s well worth it!
I’ve never experienced a dining experience quite like this. I felt like I was in “the” secret garden. It was just breathtaking. Our food was delicious, drinks were sexy and the atmosphere was surreal. I felt like fairies and frogs with hats might appear. Just beautiful
We went to Margarita on our way out of Tepo. Make sure you make a reso-- The entrance is discreet, but when you enter it transforms into a little oasis in the city. The space is beautifully done, and the tables nestled amongst greenery taking you into another world. It was quite warm when we were there but there was plenty of shade that kept us nice and cool. The service was great and the food was fresh and innovative and being meat eaters we didn't miss meat at all. We were in a bit of a rush which I don't recommend if you plan on eating here. It's a place you'll want to take in and enjoy. Hopefully when we're back we can see it's magic in the evening.
We had the most magical wedding welcome dinner here. The food, location, music and staff were all beyond what we imaged. We co-designed a menu, welcome drinks and playlist and my guests were in awe. It's a truly stunning place and the food was delicious. Huge thanks to the amazing staff! Would not hesitate to visit.

Absolutely fantastic! The food here is the best I’ve had in many years. The gnocchi was absolutely divine! The prices here are higher than most places but if you want to treat yourself I would strongly recommend coming here. The inside is beautiful with the full glass ceiling and loads of plants making it a very private experience. Staff were lovely and always happy to help, the outside seating is also lovely and they have a terrace to smoke on. Definitely get the chocolate cake with Abocado ice cream if it’s available! Maybe they need a different white wine selection as the types of white wine were more suited to fish and starters, however still tasted nice!
This place is amazing. The garden beautifully inspired by Margarita Urueta Sierra, a renowned poet whose works explored nature, romance, and the complexities of the human soul, and we totally felt it that way while visiting. The atmosphere is enchanting, effortlessly blending lush, vibrant gardens filled with flowers and a tranquil ponds, with a spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Tepoztlan. We started with their signature cocktails: Romeo and Juliette, Terra, Familio, and Fauno. Each drink was thoughtfully crafted and delicious, but Romeo and Juliette truly stood out. The presentation was captivating, making the experience memorable even before taking the first sip. For food, we indulged in both available desserts the strawberry tart and the avocado ice cream with the brownie. Both were delightful, particularly impressive as vegetarian options. We also enjoyed the tacos, which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail throughout the restaurant from the stunning garden layout to the charming table arrangements—made the entire experience unforgettable. Margarita Concept Garden is more than just dining; it’s an immersive journey into poetic beauty and culinary delight. The service was also a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tepoztlan!
We came here for dinner when chef Anshul Pundir was doing a pop-up and it was a truly delicious feast. It's like walking into a tropical paradise with little leafy hideaways to sit in with an incredible view of the mountains. The staff were super accommodating and let us start outside when it was light in a beautiful spot in the garden and then inside once dark. Nothing was too much too ask and it was great service. The standouts were the hoja santa tempura with mushroom, the manchego and carrot flautas in salsa, and the carrots/turnips in white mole. The combinations of indian spices gave traditional mexican cuisine such an interesting and original twist. You have to go! It's a very special place!
